Dear Exchange Expert,
we are currently running Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP3 with Hybrid to Office 365.
Out of sudden, one of the user receive some messages of "Not Read: Your message was deleted without being read on dates xxxxx", which is very strange and I can't find any rules that trigger this messages.
Some of the messages are related to emails being sent out 2 years ago. Though user usually checking the "Read Receipt" features being send out, but how come email has been sent out few months or few years ago but suddenly send the "Read Receipt" status back to the sender?
I have tried to do some test using outlook 2010 to send messages out to internal recipients mailbox. After sent, I login to the recipient test mailbox and straight away delete the email without reading it first, but I didn't receive the above message being sent to sender too.
May I know under what circumstances the above situation could occur?
